How Educators Can Participate

Each toolkit includes a variety of elements to encourage and facilitate children and caregivers’ story-making. These elements include a step-by-step guide with goals for each session, as well as tools and strategies for a productive workshop.

In addition to English and French, some of the Lost & Found workshop toolkit materials for participants are available in: Cree (Swampy dialect), Inuktitut, Inuinnaqtun, Ojibwe and Arabic. About Us
Lost & Found is a national storytelling project, led by the Canadian Children's Literacy Foundation. It was created to give Canadian kids a platform to showcase their COVID-19 stories.

For children and their families, the pandemic has been a struggle.

Lockdown measures have affected children's mental and physical health, educational attainment and connections to community.

Designed in collaboration with a diverse coalition of mental health and child-serving organizations, the Lost & Found project helps children connect with their emotions and experiences, which allows them to better understand and engage with their communities.
